The Thing That God Hates

This is a touchy subject that many people either don’t understand or do not take the time to study what the thing is that God hates the most.

Before touching this subject, I would like to briefly explain how the Bible should be studied. So further on, you as the reader, can understand why and how the Bible helped me with coming to this conclusion with this study.

Now the Bible says:

(2Cor 13:1) This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

(Deut 19:15) One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

What these verses in context mean, if you have multiple individuals who are giving their testimony in a case that has a similar subject matter. If each person’s testimony matches, then there must be some truth in each of their stories.

Similar to a court case where if there is not enough evidence provided to help with the outcome of the case then the judge must take into consideration the testimonies of the witnesses. If those witnesses’ testimonies match up then the judge can rule fairly on the case.

As you can see from these two examples, what the Bible says in Duet 19:15 and 2Corithians 13:1 is true, but we must make sure that we are allowing the Bible to interpret itself and not being taken out of context.

The Bible states in Isaiah 28:13:

(Isa 28:13) But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

We must also make sure that we are not putting our own interpretations on what the Bible is saying either.

(2Pet 1:20) Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

To summarize everything written above, when studying the Bible, we should find multiple verses or passages to help support the hypothesis as well as the conclusion we have arrived at. Making sure that it makes sense logically and spiritually and that nothing has been taken out of context. Please note that each verse or passage does count as a witness, especially if it is taken from different books in the Bible or comes out of the mouth of two different individuals.

Now we can understand how the Bible should be studied.  So, then what is the thing that God hates?

Before proceeding through the rest of this article please read the following notes below:

  • When I am speaking of the disobedient children or the bad children (I am referring to the unrepentant sinners)
  • When speaking of the obedient children or good children (referring to the repentant sinners)

There are two things that God can express hatred towards: the Sin or the Sinner and only one of them God does hate.

Some pastors love to use the following verses below on this subject, which in my opinion these are the worst verses for this subject matter: Malachi 1:1-3 and Romans 9:13

(Mal 1:1- 3) I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

(Rom 9:13) As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.

After reading these verses you would think that God hates the individual (sinner).

It is true that if you die in your sins that there is no salvation for those who died in their unrepentant and unconfessed sin. But does that mean God hates you if you die in your sin?

We need to take a second look at Malachi 1:1-3 and Romans 9:13 again. It is correct to say that God does not actually hate Esau in this case but that God is displeased, or He “hates” the fact that Esau had chosen the path of sin. God gave Esau multiple opportunities during Esau’s life to repent and he never did.

Also, Esau was one of God’s creations. God loves all things in which He created. However, numerous times in the Old and New Testament, God laid out before the people that the punishment of disobedience is death. This punishment of death of the wicked in the lake of fire may be seen as a form of “tough love” given to disobedient children.

Later on in the study we will come back to this topic of how God administers tough love on to the disobedient children later on in this study. For now, I’d rather focus on the question asked earlier “does God hates you if you die in your sin?”

Looking at Esau’s case again in Hebrew 12:14-17 we see how God expresses His frustration over Esau’s failure to repent.

(Heb 12:14)  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

(Heb 12:15)  Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

(Heb 12:16)  Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

(Heb 12:17)  For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

After reading the verses above this is similar as a God-fearing parent with their own disobedient children why?

Well, here is a great example: There were Christian parents that have a son whom they tried to raised in the Bible. Because this family is not living in the best of neighborhoods, the child also learned things from the neighborhood as well as the schools he attends. By the time the son enters high school, he hangs around the wrong crowd and becomes a gangbanger. Every day he smokes, drink, gets into fights with other gangs, steals and robs. The God loving parents continue to warn him to stop and give up that lifestyle because it could lead to him being put in jail or death.

The child refuses, and the day comes where the child’s evil activities finally catch up to him and he is murdered. Because of the death of their son, does a loving parent ever once say that they hated their child or do they lament that if the deceased child would have listened, he would have been alive and have had a life of a totally different and better outcome?

Every day, God is reaching out to us through dreams, through our brothers and sisters, and even in the Bible. Asking all of us, both the good as well as the bad children, to repent of our sins and for us to humbly make reconciliation with Him.

Just because a bad child does not repent, it does not mean that God hates them. Just like the parents in the example, God is angry with sinners because they have all the time in the world to repent and yet choose not to do so; same as Esau.

One thing that God never does is hide His character from us. A true Christian would know that God’s character is shown throughout the entire Bible because He wants us to trust in Him.   So why would God hide traits of His character from us? Especially when it is the duty of the Christian to go out and win souls for God’s Kingdom by telling others about how wonderful His character is. It is true we may not understand all His ways or the things that God does. But the Bible puts in full display that His character is a God of Love, Truth, and of Justice.

And this character is displayed in many of the stories told in the Bible.  First, Absalom, David’s son in 2 Samuel chapters 13 to 18, Absalom started a rebellion against David and tried to overthrow his father to become king even gone as far as sleeping with David’s concubines and Absalom was trying to bring physical harm to his own father. David never once said that he hated Absalom. In fact, David grieved when he heard the news of Absalom’s death.

Second, Job’s children in Job chapter 1:4-5 explains how Job believed while celebrating that his children had sinned against the Lord and cursed God to their hearts, and Job never said that he hated them for engaging in sinful activities. He simply prayed and ask God for forgiveness of their sins on their behalf. Job even went the extra mile by doing sacrifices.

In fact, the entire chapter of Ezekiel 18 talks about how God handles the individuals.  Note particularly that in Ezekiel 18:32 God says For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.” And then repeats Himself again in Ezekiel 33:11 by saying: “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”

The Lord is clearly saying here He does not take any pleasure in the death of the wicked. This means it hurts Him to have to punish His children who are disobedient. He knows it must be done to protect the obedient children. This is the same as a parent who disciplines their child in a form of a spanking and then says to the child afterwards “this hurt me more than you.”

Why do you think God continues to encourage us to repent and turn from our wicked ways? not only did he just mention this in Ezekiel 18:32 & Ezekiel 33:11 above but also in the following verses below:

(Eze 7:3) Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.

(Eze 7:8) Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

(Act 17:30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent:

Throughout the Old Testament, there have been numerous times God has said that He was angry with the children of Israel and the house of Judah for the sin they were engaging in. Now, what is the definition of angry? Strong’s Concordances definition of “angry “are listed below:

A primitive root; to breathe hard, that is, be enraged: – be angry (displeased). (H599)

From H2196; angry: – displeased. (H2189)

From H2194; strictly froth at the mouth, that is, (figuratively) fury (especially of God’s displeasure with sin): – angry, indignation, rage. (H2195)

A primitive root; properly to boil up, that is, (figuratively) to be peevish or angry: – fret, sad, worse liking, be wroth. (H2196)

Now the bible does say that those who keep God’s word and His laws. God claimed as His sons and daughters shown in 2nd Corinthians 6:17 & 18:

(2Cor 6:17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

(2Cor 6:18) And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

However, many Christians forget that the Lord also makes mention in the following verse and makes claim that everything in the earth is His in the verses below:

(Exo 19:5) Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

(Col 1:16) For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

(Eze 18:4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

This validates my reason for calling all of Mankind God’s good and bad His children. Now let us look at Ezekiel 18:4 one more time:

(Eze 18:4) Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Not only is God making a claim that all people on the earth are His. But it gives the punishment for sin as well.  And the punishment of sin is death.

God mentions this in the following verses:

(Eze 18:20) The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

(Rom 6:23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

(1Cor 15:56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Now if you have made it this far, I want to thank you for reading this. But we clearly see that the thing that God hates the most is sin.

The Bible makes all of this clear in Proverbs 6:16-19 with a list of things God hates while also saying that those who do these things shall not inherit the kingdom of God in Galatians 5:19-21 while also giving the punishment that the disobedient children will face in Revelations 21:8:

Proverb 6:16-19

(Pro 6:16) These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

(Pro 6:17) A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

(Pro 6:18)An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

(Pro 6:19) A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

Galatians 5:19-21

(Gal 5:19) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

(Gal 5:20) Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

(Gal 5:21)  Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelations 21:8

(Rev 21:8) But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Now just because the disobedient children will not be allowed into God’s Kingdom to come, does not mean He hates them. This will be the punishment that God has set for them.

This is the same as a parent who tell their child that if he/she do not get good grades or misbehave in school, they will not be able to go on the family vacation. This is the consequence for their actions.

Just like any other parent who set rules and goals within the home for their children to obey and fulfill. Rewards or penalties will be given based on whether the child fulfilled or failed to meet the requirements given.

God is doing the same thing here there are no rewards for those children who are disobedient. They will be missing out on the reward which is entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven and eternal life. Instead, for their disobedience they will receive the punishment of the Lake of Fire which is the second death.

God has laid out the requirements and goals in His words that He wants each one of us to obey and fulfill. Though He loves all His children. It makes sense for Him to give more of His attention to helping the obedient children who have made the decision to obey His word and His Laws and reward them for their works. And for those children who made the decision to refuse to turn from their sinful ways, let them be. Because just like any God Fearing parent that administers “tough love” as a last resort onto their own disobedient children. God will be following the same process by administering tough love onto the disobedient children with the punishment God has set for them.

The bible states the following in Ecclesiastes 12:14 & Revelations 20:11-15

Ecclesiastes 12:14

(Ecc 12:14) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Revelations 20:11-15

(Rev 20:11)  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

(Rev 20:12)  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

(Rev 20:13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

(Rev 20:14)  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

(Rev 20:15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

In the Steps to Christ by Ellen G White (page 58) it says quote

“He hates sin, but he loves the sinner, and he gave Himself, in the person of Christ, that all who would, might be saved, and have eternal blessedness in the kingdom of glory.”

This quote cannot be any clearer and true. God does love the sinner or else He would not have sent His Son our Lord Jesus Christ to die for our sins. But it is up to the individual whether they want to be an obedient or a disobedient child of God in the end.

And I hope and pray that you were blessed by this Study God has given me to share to you.

Golden Calf in Exodus 32

This story is an interesting account about how Aaron created the golden calf idol while Moses was with God up on Mount Sinai.  God had called Moses to be with Him on Sinai for a duration of 40 days and 40 nights.   During that time, the children of Israel became impatient and thought Moses had abandoned them. (Exodus 32:1)

(Exo 32:1)  And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

In this verse, it shows that the people were beginning to wonder what happened to Moses: if Moses was still alive or if he had abandoned them.  Out of desperation, some of the children of Israel began to revert to Pagan idol worship they had  learned while enslaved in Egypt: make a deity of Gold to be able to worship and give offerings to it.  It was the children  of Israel’s doubt and lack of faith which lead them to pressure Aaron into making the golden calf.

Also, another thing to make note of: since God freed His people from the Pharaoh, in Exodus 14, the children of Israel always questioned and doubted God’s ability to protect and provide for them even though they had witnessed God’s power:

  • the plagues happen (Exodus chapter 7 to 11)
  • Seeing how God led them through the desert by pillars of clouds by day and by pillars of fire by night (Exodus 13:21 & 22)
  • The miracle where God divided the waters of the Red Sea for them to cross to escape (Exodus 14)
  • God having bread fall from the sky for them to eat (Exodus  16)
  • God gave water from them to drink by having it come from a rock (Exodus 17:1-7)

Now the Bible does not say how long it took for the people to become impatient nor  how long it took Aaron to give in and make the deity. In Exodus 32:21 – 24 (KJV), gives a clue to showing that the people did do or said something to make Aaron compromise:

  • (Exo 32:21)  And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
  • (Exo 32:22)  And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
  • (Exo 32:23)  For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
  • (Exo 32:24)  And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

We see in verse 21, Moses asks Aaron what has the people done to you to make you bring a great sin upon them?  And in verse 22 though Aaron did not directly answer Moses’s question,  it does indicate by Aaron words that the people either put great pressure on Aaron or threatened to something  to him or possibly his family.

But it clearly shows Aaron did it out of fear. This is why he collected the gold from everyone (Exodus 32:2 to 4, and 24), put the Gold into the fire to melt it (Exodus 32:24), and took the graving tools and fashioned it to give the calf’s shape and form (Exodus 32:4).

Bible verses below for reference in Exodus 32:2-4 (KJV)

  • (Exo 32:2)  And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.
  • (Exo 32:3)  And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
  • (Exo 32:4)  And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
  • (Exo 32:5)  And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.

Exodus 32:24 KJV

(Exo 32:24)  And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

Now the bible never gave any indication as to how big the golden calf was.

So thinking realistically the Golden Calf had to have been a small Statue

The First reason is due to time, remember the calf was built while Moses was in mount Sinai.

Though we know that it was the peoples decisions to worship and giving offerings to it.

That lead to God informing Moses  of the peoples actions which made Moses descend from the mountain in Exodus 32:9-15 (KJV).

But we don’t know when the people began to become impatient and made Aaron compromise. However, it is safe to say that it had to have been at the end of the 40 days and not the beginning

The second reason is the alter Aaron built for the golden calf to sit on.

So it would make sense for the calf to by a small one because it takes a lot less time to make an alter for a small statue then a big one.

And the last reason is Aaron’s mindset, many times when a person is under a serious amount of pressure or being rushed to complete a task, especially one they are being forced to do. A lot of times they are not going to put forth their best effort possible and it makes sense for Aaron to make a small statue to get the task done as fast as possible.

Also to add people told never Aaron to make a big idol for them they just said make one for them in Exodus 32:1 (KJV).

  •  (Exo 32:1)  And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

So in Conclusion it is easy to see that satan had his hand in the tempting the Children of Israel. And, it was because of their decision to act upon that temptation which lead to many of the Children of Israel being killed by the sons of Levi in Exodus 32:27 & 28 (KJV).

And to clarify after Moses drew that line in the sand asking for all those who will stand with the Lord to gather onto him, only the people who chose to not stand on the Lords side were killed that day. Here are the verses below for your reference:

Exodus 32:26-28 (KJV)

  • (Exo 32:26)  Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD’S side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
  • (Exo 32:27)  And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
  • (Exo 32:28)  And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.

This is an example to help us today understand that all of our actions has consequences good or bad. In case the case for those children of Israel who did not gather onto Moses they all died instantly on the spot for the decision they’ve made to worship the golden calf. And, don’t think Aaron and those people who chose to stand by Moses that had participated in the festivity was not punished either for their actions. In their case they was not blessed in being able to see the Land Flowing with Milk and Honey that land was now to be giving to their Kindred after them.

This is similar to today where those who do not wish to serve and follow Gods commandments will also miss out on being able to be in Gods Kingdom in the coming future or being bless by being part of the first resurrection during Christ second coming.

That blessing will only be reserve for only those who both Keep Gods word and due Gods work and live their life here on the first earth modestly and humbly as they can

For the Bible says the following in Romans 6:23 (KJV)

(Rom 6:23)  “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

State of the Dead

Now I have been to numerous funerals through my life. Especially in the recent years and it seems to be a lot of confusion regarding as to what happens to you when you die.

The Bible covers this in very fine detail if only the pastors only teach the bible the people today would not be confused or worry about their deceased love ones.

Now I do understand that some pastors or denominations may simple not know the State of Dead and the stages a person would go through going from being among the living, to dead, then to the kingdom of heaven.

Now today many people believe immediately when you die you go straight to heaven or straight to hell, some believe that you have to go to a place to be purified of their sins before entering to Heaven. And other believe that the dead stays dead for a probationary period of time.

Now if you go to a funeral today many will title the ceremony as “Going Home Service”.

Now is this statement true?

If it is based on what the bible says then nothing is wrong.

However if not then this statement can cause confusion among the people because it may get people to think that the Deceased goes straight to Heaven after death.

Now what does the bible say on topic?

Lets first look at what Peter is saying in Acts 2:29

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.”

Next Peter proceed to follow up in Act 2:34

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,”

Now the bible says King David is still buried here.

He has not ascended into Heaven as of yet. And, for Peter to state this boldly over 2k years ago he had to have known David was still buried in his grave.

Next What hint does Jesus even us about the type of body we will have when a person is resurrected from the grave?

The answer to this question can be found in Luke 24:34-43

“Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon. And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread. And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them.

So right there it shows that if a person were to be raised from the dead they will have a physical body.

Now the book of Job give us some additional details on the State of the Dead

Job 14:10-12

“But man dieth, and wasteth away: yea, man giveth up the ghost, and where is he? As the waters fail from the sea, and the flood decayeth and drieth up: So man lieth down, and riseth not: till the heavens be no more, they shall not awake, nor be raised out of their sleep.”

Job it gives 2 identifying details to us

1st it refers to death as sleeping

Now the bible correlates death to sleep in many case in Psalms 13:3

“Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

Even Jesus refer death to sleep before raising Lazarus from the dead John 11:11-14

“These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of
rest in sleep. Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

2nd The book of Job gave a time frame of how long the dead shall sleep for

“til the Heavens be no more”

Now you can read

Luke 21:25-36 | Matthew 24:25-37 | Mark 13:23-34

To get the answer we are seeking and read about the other event that are going to take place during this time.

But the best supporting verse is

Revelation 21:1

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

There are 2 reasons I selected Revelation 21:1 as the best supporting verse

1st this verse covers when the first heaven will be done away with

2nd But also because Revelation itself covers all the events that take place during Christ second coming. Christ even appears in Chapter 1.

With this truth we should understand the dead shall sleep until Christ’s second coming

So now we understand that when you die you are buried or cremated, In death you shall sleep until Christs second coming, and when you are called to wake up again you will have a physical body.

Now after reading this the evidence provide only using the bible to interpret itself. Is using the term “Going Home service” at a funeral correct?

Even when the dead is raise from the grave they wont even know where their destination will be until all the events in Revelations has been fulfilled. But shall cover this in a moment .

Now over the years many religions teach about how its good to praise the dead, even talk to the dead saints. Many of the Catholic Church saint were even canonized to become a saint until after they have died.

And, some people always tell me that after a loved one of theirs passes they all of a sudden see their loved ones spirit walking around the house.

Now are these theories correct? are these people seeing ghost? is the dead able to communicate with the living? can a deceased person feel anything in death?

Now lets look at the bible and see what it says

Psalms 146:4

His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.

Psalm 115:17

The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Isaiah 38:18

For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

Ecclesiastes 9:5,6

For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

After listening to these verses

we know the dead cannot praise or celebrated anything

and Ecclesiastes could not be any clearer by saying they do not deal with anything regarding the living, meaning they can’t talk to us,

all of there anger, sadness, loneliness is now gone.

and to know what that no matter what funeral services you attend  in the future

you should feel comfortable to know that the person in that casket is just sleeping temporarily.

They are not suffering an eternal nightmares,

their spirit is not floating alone in the vast world of nothingness,

and the spirits are not being tortured by the flames of purgatory.

There just sleep, they don’t even know that their sleep

That is why we should feel at ease knowing this truth

Now here is some responsibility we must bared on our part

Because to see our loved ones again we must get our lives right with God.

Sainthood start before going to the grave not after

Because during the event of Christ’s second coming it will not only dead in Christ

That shall be awaken.

But also those who did not accept Christ and keep the Gods law

John 5:28-29

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

And the Revelations could not follow up any clearer by saying

Revelation 22:11

“He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”

Meaning during the events of Christs second coming

If you died before as an evil person you will be resurrected as an evil person

And if you died a good person you will be resurrected as a good person

Now remember how earlier I mentioned how the dead don’t even know if they are going to heaven or not until all the events of revelations has fulfilled. Now that is partly truth, but if you know you tried to follow all of Gods law to the best of your ability and Have complete faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour yes you will be in Heaven.

This is why I urge those who read this to start keeping his law now because tomorrow is never promised to us

Even the bible speaks as to why we should have more of an urgency to get our lives right with God now

Ecclesiastes 9:10

“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”

The bible says in

Romans 6:23

“For the wages of sin is death; (this is true because of our sinful nature )but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So when will this Gift be received?

1 Thessalonians 4 :16 & 17

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

if you are one of the ones who are called up to meet Christ in the air during his second coming

not only will you be able to see you loved ones again

But that’s also you will receive that wonderful gift promised to us that is eternal life

And forever being with the Lord

Responsibility of the pastors

The Lord has spoken to me the past couple of days, and I wanted to start the blog off the right way. And, As Christians we have to understand that we have a responsibility to those we are around and those who we have witness to in the past.

First as a teachers of Gods Word we have to always maintain a Christ like attitude and position always. Because we never know who is watching us.

I know when we witness to others and when they do not listen or acknowledge what you are saying, just like you  I used to get upset myself. You have done years of studying and worked up the courage to finally talk to people and share the with them the knowledge and things the Lords has reveal to you. For them not to listen or just walk right past you on the street. Trust me, I know how frustrating it is. However we have to understand that we are in the last days and we now are living in a time where the people are not being taught the word of God now like the bible mentions in Isaiah 28:10 & 13 where the bible must be read “precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little” meaning when trying to understand the scriptures the reader must allow the bible to interpret itself.

And, that is the case today, many people are being taught the bible based on the pastors or that denominations own interpretation of the bible, which can lead to confusion, frustration, and can cause people to even want to stop believing in God, the bible say in 2 Peter 1:20 & 21 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”. So when a pastor is not allowing the bible to interpret itself yet giving their own opinion on what the scriptures are saying, there is never going to be any consistency in there preaching. Because mans opinions and interpretation on how they look at things changes all the time. And, many denominations of Christianity was created based of that fact only baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Pentecostal, Protestant, Jehovah witness, Orthodox Churches, and many other Christian denominations have built their religious empires on the denominations interpretation on the bible and that’s it and when someone challenges that creed they believe in  even if proven wrong based on Biblical fact. The challenger will always be wrong regardless.  Even when challenger is within the church, and most of the time the person is asked to leave or the pastors would be telling them that they may need to stop reading the bible. Yes there have been times where the pastors have asked a person to stop reading the bible when the denomination creed has been called into question by a member within.

Now the Bible is our Basic Instructions before leaving earth, why would a pastor tell a member of there church to stop reading the bible all because a member challenge the denominations creed?

Well that’s because there are many reason why maybe they are a false teacher a wolf in sheep clothing (Mat 7:15), Preaching only for the money & fame (1Tim 3:8), or maybe simply the pastor probably did not know of this truth and they are denying it based of what they know which honestly I never will understand why when people didn’t know of something they just deny it instead of just saying let me look into that and I’ll get back to you on that, there is nothing wrong with saying I don’t know.

Most people would be surprised to know that many of the pastors today has never read the all 66 books, all 31,102 verses that are in the bible.

I spoke with many pastors and I have had more than a few who’ve told me that they have never read the bible completely through. Some say they just reading out there favorite books they make there sermons from, some say they only read the scriptures they were taught in bible school.

Now there is no problem with reading your favorite books. Even I myself have my favorite book I like to read out of the bible. However as a pastor your responsibilities are to teach the bible, to inspire people, and to motivate people.

The responsibility of being able to teach means to teach out of all 66 books, many pastor today do not do this they teach out of the same books every week and most skip the teaching responsibility all together because mostly all of them do not even tell you where in the bible they are quoting from while preaching.

Just at a funeral the other day I was shown this a pastor when they were preaching they said “in the book of Ecclesiastes it said the living know they shall die. But the dead all their memories of suffer is gone” then they continued on with making there point. Now as a person who is also learning the word of God how am I suppose to follow them if the do not give the chapter or verse they are quoting from? Also how do I know what you are actually saying is in the bible and you are not just deceiving me? also how do I know if you are not taking the bible scripture out of context? Now the chapter and verse they were quoting from is Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 KJV

“For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.”

Now the pastor that said this actually told me where he got that from. Now some pastor are just taught to preach this way and a few when I asked them will tell the verses they are quoting from when I ask them.

but many pastors purposely do not say the chapter and verses. Because they want to try as much as possible to prevent others from calling them out. which why I say many pastors skip the teaching responsibility.

Most rather only stick to the inspiring and motivational preaching or speaking. But there can be a downside to only preaching to inspire and motivate without applying the teaching aspect to it.

The teaching aspect help to driving the congregation to become inspired and motivated on the word of God why do I say this>

Now lets say for example a person named Jim never drove a car before and never been taught how to drive before. Now I just inspired to become motivated to go and buy a new car so he can drive. How does the new car benefit Jim if he does not know how to drive it if was never taught how to drive?

Now let do another example lets say Jim is now taking a class on driving and the instructor says now to become a better driver you just have to keep driving. And, then puts Jim on the road. Now how is Jim suppose to become a better drive with vague answers?

Now if you did not see my point behind the examples given I’ll explain it here. Many Pastors today are not teaching the bible they use the bible to motivate people while also being very vague on the topics they preach about.

To give an actual example of this a funeral is one of the easiest time to teach on the topic on the State of the Dead to inspire the people to not only read their bibles because now you are teaching them something they probably never knew about. But to also give them comfort in knowing and understanding that their loved one is just sleeping and is at peace now. Then the pastor can easily teach by covering the stages of how when a person dies they are buried or cremated, they shall sleep until Christ second coming, and when they are raised up from the dead they will have a physical body. And, just find the supporting verses that explains this fact and truth.

But the pastor the other day spoke about how the deceased was a good person but they never knew the deceased person. Then spoke about they are already in the kingdom then said they were sleep here with us 10 minutes later. Never really gave many bible verses to back there claims except saying the book of Isaiah say this and Jeremiah says this once again purposely not telling what chapter of verses he is quoting from. After the funeral all the family would say was it was a good sermon in short they did not really pay attention to the pastor

But I was able to see the difference from when I spoke at another funeral gave a 15 minutes sermon and gave all the verses the were given on the State of the Dead Blog that will be posted soon. Teaching the stage one by one  and supported my claims with bible verse after bible verse giving the Chapter and the verse. So the family could follow along and keep notes, if they take any.

After the sermon I had a completely difference experience not only did the family take me they even had questions about the bible and even asked for a recording of the sermon. So they can listen to it again, because they learned something during that sermon. I hit I goal in the sermon

1. Teach the word of God

2. Inspire The congregation to listen

3. Motivate them to want to learn more about the word of God by them taking notes and wanting a recording of it

Concluding Every Pastor must teach the word of God the responsibility cannot be skipped because without teaching the word. You are causing the congregation to follow you without any direction or guidance like with the example I gave about Jim. But also the pastor must teach based on Isaiah 28:10&13, the pastor must allow the bible to interpret itself because if the pastor continues to follow creeds and traditions that are not back by the word of God. They will just be teaching the doctrines of devil 1Tim 4:1

Homosexuality Topic Post

Today this post in this blog is going to be a pretty long one,This past week I was confronted with the same topic 3 times on separate days which lead to this post the topic was on Homosexuality and there were the 3 points that came up in discussion this week each time I conversed with someone, so I felt that the Lord wanted me to cover this topic in either a page or a blog post which this may turn into a page eventually.

But the 3 points that came up were these

  1. Homosexuality is not mentioned anywhere in the ten commandments.
  2. God uses homosexuality for population control
  3. Homosexuality is part of the eco-system

I can see how many people today may be lead to believe that these statement is truth. But one thing all Christians need to know is anything that God tells his people not to do all falls under the Ten Commandments.

There is reasons why it says in scripture

For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” James 2:10

For more information how if you break one commandment you break all of them please click here

Meaning by breaking even one of the Ten Commandments that you have broken all of them

Just as a warning some of these verses may offend some people, but I am doing exactly as Jesus has stated in

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

“And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” Luke 4:4

Paul mentions

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: Titus 2:1

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17

And also since Jesus has stated

“I and my Father are one.”John 10:30

This proves that whatever God the Father does not like also Jesus does not as well

Also in scripture it says

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isa 8:20.

Since everything I am stating is backed solely by scripture it has to be said.

Now how does homosexuality falls within the ten commandments?

In Scripture it is written:

That man is created in the image of God in Gen 1:27

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.(Gen 1:27)

Now God tells man not to have homosexual relations with each other in

Lev 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Lev 20:13: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination

By man participating in acts like homosexuality there corrupting the image of God as stated in Rom 1:23

Rom 1:23: And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man,

Now Paul mentions in Romans 1:26-28

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;” Rom 1:26-28

Now Paul mentions in Rom 1:26-28, How God gave the people over to there own affections. why? Because the people did not like to keep the word of God, so God gave them over to their own evil intension’s.

And what did Romans 1:26-28 state what the people did? It said That man did what that was even against nature. In verse 27 of the 1st chapter of Romans it mentions that men left their natural desires for a woman.

“burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly,” middle of Rom 1:27. We see here how even the bible states that men sleeping with men is immoral, which also proves here that homosexuality cannot be part of the Ecosystem simply because the bible clearly says it’s against nature.

Why does scripture say men sleeping with men is inappropriate?

Well lets look back at Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13

Lev 18:22: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Lev 20:13: If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination

At the very end of these two verses it show how homosexuality is an abomination

Now the strong concordances H8441 defines Abomination as

“a disgusting thing, abomination, abominable in ethical sense (of wickedness etc)”

In the strong concordances it mentions an abomination is something of Wickedness

So since before someone could ever commit to an action or behavior they first think about it first or just entertain a thought of interest in there head before committing to the act.

For example a teenager is not forced to drink liquor with their friends, even though they feel pressure of feeling left out. They still had to think about it and make a decision to go through with the act of drinking the liquor or not.

Same with homosexuality, transgenders, smoking, and doing drugs it’s a choice. Think it about it, how does a man or woman who before they committed a serious crime before going to prison is heterosexual then all of a sudden go into prison and become a homosexual?

Shows how the homosexual lifestyle is a choice to make, because if sexual orientation was not a choice, but something that a person is born with, than there would not be a bi-sexual lifestyle, still an abomination lifestyle to live, but just making a point.

Also think of the animal kingdom how if you see a wild bear, lion, tiger or whatever type of animal, you see how the males always mate with a female.

But people are stating that there are homosexual animals as well. Let’s go back to the prison illustration that was mentioned earlier.

If a prisoner who is heterosexual is sitting in a prison cell all the time and depending on the level of crime they committed they may be put in a cell by themselves or with another inmate of the same gender.

Obviously over time if that person does not know God and even read a bible daily, temptation will overwhelm that person and eventually that prison inmate may give in to sexual starvation.

And, commit the act of sodomy with their inmate who also may be sexually starved.

So why would not this same temptation fall upon a animal whose forced to be in a cage or confined space all their life.

So since the scripture says that homosexuality is an abomination and the strong concordances define an abomination as wickedness, and since scripture states that God gave the people over to a reprobate mind or up to their lustful imaginations.

So what was one of the six thing that God hate that was mentioned in Proverbs 6:16-20

“These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother:” Prov 6:16-20

So since God clearly states that “An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations ” is one of the thing he hates.

To make this point clear what is a reprobate mind or a lustful thought? An wicked imagination.

Now what does scripture say about those who chooses to participate in thing that are abominable?

“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.” Rev 21:27

To clarify when Rev 21:27 is speaking of “shall in no wise enter into it” it speaking of New Jerusalem mentioned earlier in the 21st chapter of Revelation in verse 2

So in Revelation 21:27 it states that anything that is an abomination shall not enter into Gods kingdom only those who are mentioned in God’s Book of Life

How do you get your name written into Gods book of life

“Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.”Psalms 69:27-28

So it show that only people who stand in righteousness can be written into God’s Book of Life

How you can not to get your name written into Gods book of life

“And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.

Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin—; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.”Exodus  32:31-33

So Now only way a persons name cannot be written into the Gods book of life

A person has to be living in sin.

Not the ones who are trying to stop sinning, but the ones who know what they are doing is wrong and don’t try to make a change

Now onto the conclusion:

Every person that claims Jesus as their Lord and Saviour also accepts God as their Father in Heaven for what is written in

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.”2 corinthians 6:17-18

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14

Therefore if a person sees themselves as a son or daughter of God, this means God is your Father. So what does the 5th commandment say?

“Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.” Exodus 20:12

So if God says that a man should not sleep with man, and the people still do so, they have dishonor there Father in Heaven which means commandment 5 broken. Which means Homosexuality is in the 10 commandments. Just becaise its not clear written does not mean its not really there.

God uses homosexuality for population control?

That’s statement is pretty simple to prove false. Now we all know that the earth is not over populated. Only the cities are, They say that the US is over populated with people why is that?

If a person to get on a plane or a train or even take a drive through the country areas you can see a lot of land that could easily populate well over a 1000 people  easily. But since everyone want to move to the cities where they can do nothing but have a good time of course the cities are going to be over populated.

Also if God tells his bible believing children to stay away from things that are of satan, than why would God or even Jesus Christ would use satans tools to do his work it does not make since at all

Jesus said in Mark 10:6-8

“But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.” Mark 10:6-8

Since the tower of Babel where satans church first came into existence it always been pagan cultures whose accepted homosexuality into their society

Even the Catholic Church cardinal members has bi-sexual and homosexual members which shows why the Catholic Church can’t be a Christian church.

Plus if God needed to use homosexuality for population control then why do we die?

Now this does not mean God is not going a homosexual, the only thing is that person will have to give up that lifestyle.

Why? remember Paul the apostle use to kill early christians and jews until God decided to use him then he never kill again. Moses murdered an Egyptian soldier to help some slaves, when God decided to use him. He never killed another man. Peter the apostle denied Jesus three time even after Jesus warned him that he was. God used Peter and he never denied Jesus ever again.

I hope this information is helpful to whoever reads this post thank you

How to keep Sabbath

Happy Sabbath 8-5-2017

Yes for those who are first coming into the knowledge of this Truth Saturday is indeed the Sabbath

To note: there is no Bible verses from Genesis to Revelation where God has changed the Sabbath from the 7th day to the First day of the week.

If you need more information on this please go to this link below:

lordschosenremnant.org/bible-truths/sabbath/

lordschosenremnant.org/bible-truths/changing-times-and-laws/

lordschosenremnant.org/bible-truths/what-happened-in-321ad/

This Blog today is for those who are first starting to get into celebrating the Sabbath.

I know when I first started keeping the sabbath it was very hard, Because I did not know what to do during the sabbath because when I first started I knew that

playing video games(like sports, Shooting, racing, etc) games could not be played during the sabbath

watching movies, cartoons, online videos on youtube and other sites that was not religious were forbidden during the Sabbath

talking to others during the sabbath is forbidden if the conversation goes outside of speaking about things that is not God or bible related

playing basketball or exercising is forbidden during sabbath

Knowing that a lot these activities were forbidden my whole first day of Sabbath felt like torture. I set around my room all day long sitting on my bed doing absolutely nothing,

I read several chapters out of the bible probably more chapters I’ve ever read in any book and at that time I was not a person who liked to read. So many times during that day

I kept wanting to looking at something but could not think of anything to watch or how to the pass the time.

Until I went online and spoke with some brethren at my church and what could I do during sabbath?

I even emailed the pastor because I was going to lose my mind if I went another sabbath that way.

Thank God the pastor and the brethren really helped me out giving me plenty of things someone new can do during the sabbath.

Because I know I am not the only one who have tried to celebrated the sabbath for the first time and did not know what to do. Now I am sharing that knowledge to new sabbath keeping brethren, especially during the summer where the sabbath’s are longer. To keep them from having to experience the same issues I was having during my first time, because me not preparing for the sabbath the way I should have the day before, I was starting my sabbath journey on a dangerous start, most people would not have bothered even celebrating another sabbath after what I went through, but I made a promise to God before that immediately if I find a job that would allow me to have Saturday’s off that I would start celebrating sabbath’s and keeping them.

What made me to continue to try the sabbath again was the fact I did not want to let our Holy Father in Heaven down by given up after one slip up on my part.

This was long before LCR(lordschosenremnant.org) was even made or even thought of. Now the suggestions brethren gave me will be listed below

  • take nature walks
  • children sabbath schools
  • study nature and natural health
  • type up bible studies you can email or snail mail to loved ones
  • color bible pictures for children
  • visit the sick
  • leave tracks at park tables, outhouses or parking lots.. etc
  • sing or listen to songs of praise
  • visit the elderly
  • read Spirit of Prophecy(Ellen White books)
  • read the family bible chapters
  • go to a pond and feed the ducks
  • go witnessing door to door
  • read the bible by yourself
  • make 3X5 cards of scripture and memorize them
  • play bible games
  • Watch church videos
  • read church material
  • look at nature Documentaries
  • find Christian cartoons My suggestion if you have little kids are The Beginners Bible, Animated children bible stories, Jesus Bible story for Kids

So what happened the following week I made a schedule for myself to follow since during the summer sabbath ends for me between 8, or 8:30 pm in the evening depending whether its the beginning or the end of the summer the time changes. But the schedule I made went as followed:

1. whatever time I get Pray then read Matt 27:24-54

At that time in my bible reading I was in the book of 1st Kings, so 2 would be:

2. Bible readings: Read 1st Kings 1-10

3. Break lay down reflect and listening to music during sabbath hypms, classical(piano, harp, violin), Christian gospel music and good to listen to during sabbath,

Christian Rock and Rap is not Christian music or acceptable  during Sabbath

4. Bible readings: Read 1st Kings 11-20

5. Break lay down reflect and listening to music during sabbath hypms, classical(piano, harp, violin), Christian gospel music and good to listen to during sabbath,

Christian Rock and Rap is not Christian music or acceptable  during Sabbath

6. Log into POGM for Sermon (I often attend the SDR POGM church to listen to the sermons )  click her to sign up -> POGM

7. Look at nature videos (at that time I mostly looked at documentaries about animals, now I look at the national parks like yellow stone, or plant documentaries)

8. Pray then Take a nap

9.  then look at POGM youtube page https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpITe256E0HOmw-KqWYWDhw

10. Pray and end Sabbath

I do not remember the time frame which is why I did not include them in the list and I did not include when I ate because you eat when you get hungry obviously. But you can see how just following this list how a first time sabbath keeper could keep the whole Sabbath and not break it at any part because its structured to make sure the are able to do stay constantly active during sabbath. Now I don’t need a schedule to keep because the Lord now reminds me at all times what is his will for me to do during his Sabbath.

Making a schedule like I did is just a suggest I am not saying you have to do it. But if you do try it please comment on this and let me know, how your first sabbath went

Story of Noah and the Last Days Comparison

I was blessed Yesterday with receiving a call from a Grand Aunt of mines yesterday. Which I truly find a blessing when sharing scripture with her. Its rare for her to give me a call, but its a blessing when she does, very often we will go for hours talking about the bible and the many things prophetic events that has taken place throughout history and the currently in the world.

But yesterday’s conversation I was explaining to her about how a lot of the events in the old & new testament often give clues to how the Last Days & Christs second coming are going to be like when Jesus makes his return.

One of my favorite examples is the Story of Noah, While building the Ark, Noah had to warned the people about the coming dangers of the flood that God told Noah about prior. Noah had 120 years if my math is correct to warn the people of the flood.

Comparing Noahs time to the last days as they are now God’s people since 1844 has had over 160 years to warn the world about Christs second coming.

Another good comparison of Noah’s time and the Last Days now is the number of people that were saved think about during that time out of probably thousands or millions (don’t quote me on that not sure how was on the earth at that time) that was on the earth at that time only 8 people followed Noah into the Ark and was saved from the flood, while everyone else perished and was killed by the water.

Comparing That to how in the Last Days today God’s people are warning everyone of Christ coming, how the people needs to get ready getting rid of all the sins in their lives.

And, how out of billions on the earth living during Christs second coming there will only going to be 144 thousand people that will be alive that will be true followers of Christs. And, Shall be called up into the cloud with him, after the dead in Christ rises first. And be given entrance into Gods Kingdom.

This is just a few comparisons, but its amazing how Gods has given so many clues throughout the bible how the Christ Second Coming and this world end will end up being. Just by reading the Bible

Praying For others

Sometimes on days like today where everything almost seems to go well. The Lord always bless me by bringing to mind someone that I need to pray for. I love it when the Lord brings a person to mind especially when I have not brought the person’s name before the Great Monarch of the Galaxies in Prayer in a long time. I remember back a long time ago I’ve had a hard time keeping up with the many people I prayed for daily, so the Lord brought to my attention to start a prayer list. Now every night I bring a list of over 1 700 peoples names before the Father every night in prayer. Many I mention by name (First and last if I have it) to him because it does not matter who the person is or what there back ground are I will pray for them all the time. Most of the people on the list, I don’t even know personally some I met while passing out tracts, old jobs, random people I met on the streets, however there name got there I know their names are being uplifted to the Father every night. I just know that their is a reason the Lord bring there name to mind as I am praying to him.

While always first asking for the forgiveness of any sins that I may have done to transgress God law that day. So the prayer can be more effective in my opinion. But to first understand how that we ourselves are sinners and are not perfect beings like some pastor like to claim themselves to be. I make it my mission to ensure I am on my knees praying for the forgiveness of my sins and the sins of the people I pray for. And, having faith that God will forgive myself and those names on the prayer list of their sins.

Like tonight after I finish this entry I will be praying for a friend of mines whose explained to me how he is suffering with back issues and has found out  that he has a fracture in his lower spine. Never before he was having back troubles this just sprung up all of a sudden, but he has been going to doctor visits and even though he is trying to keep his head up I can feel the sadness in his voice as he was talking. So I said to him the other day “William(not his real name) I will pray for you, asking God to heal your back through my intercession for you.”Honestly I felt overjoyed by the fact he said “That’ was actually what I was calling you for. I need your prayer man…”I love praying for others I love the joy and peace that comes with seeing a prayer become answered, even if the Lord takes 2 days to answer it or 2 years to answer it. I always have faith that God will answer my prayers for the people I am giving intercession for in prayer

But I had to tell my friend that he has to have faith as well, he cannot allow his own faith to become rattled at all and loss confidence in God. I told him to have faith in Christ’s promise to us where he says:

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Mat 7:7 KJV

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Mat 21:22 KJV

Also Paul in:

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1Cor 10:13 KJV

Just as mentioned in 1Cor 10:13 God will never leave his faithful followers alone to deal things they will not be able to handle, God and Jesus Christ are not giving up on their remnant people who are faithful and trust in the Word of God which his Bible.
